On the spur of the moment..we decided to visit these gardens..which is only 20 miles away.
On the way down the lane, we could see the glass dome and saw a track leading you in. We went though great iron gates and into a car park. It was beautiful. We started to into the grounds which was Middleton Hall and there in front was the glass dome. Whilst wandering about, we asked a couple where we get our senior citizens tickets. She said your already in..so dont bother. It was later we found out, we have come in through the tradesman entrance.
So we didn't stay long....had a picnic by the car..and made our way out but the iron gates were closed. As we approached a sensor opened the gates and we were out.
A cheap day out what !!!...but we will go back..but though the correct entrance next time.
